SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental is the biggest interconnected ski area in Austria and has a total of 279 kilometres of pistes, more than 210 km of which have snow-making facilities, more than 90 cable cars and lifts, more than 70 Alpine lodges & mountain restaurants in the ski area.
Tobogganing
The Astberg - Ellmau - Going toboggan run is 4.5 km long and is illuminated.
The toboggan run which has been constructed using the latest knowledge and has been illuminated, can be accessed via the Astbergbahn, on foot or by taxi.
Winter and snow-shoe hikes
Romantic winter hiking trails through one of the loveliest natural landscapes in Tyrol. The Wilder Kaiser region provides 113 kilometres of prepared and tracked winter hiking paths.
Snow-shoe hikers and tourers get to enjoy the freedom of the mountains, on request accompanied by state-approved mountain and ski guides. Genuine connoisseurs are also taken to the peak of pleasures on multi-day and weekend tours.
